The horizon, which now seems to wrap around the site, inspired the design. Upon arrival, one is presented with ever changing views displayed rhythmically via alternating bands of sky, light imbued lucite panels, and ocean. A series of linked spaces encircle the house, forming terraces for outdoor living, while creating visual bridges to the view. Functional elements are transformed into artistic gestures, freeing the owners from visual distractions so they can consider the quality of the light or engage in stimulating conversation.
