A contemporary version of Southern California Courtyard living, this four-unit housing design uses gardens to draw into and through the site. A collection South Afrian and Australian plants greets neighbors and invites on into the shady shared courtyard of bamboo and Peruvian petter trees. An X-path is punctuated by fountain wedges which reflect light and offer tranquil background music. Balconies allow residents to appreciate the central courtyard garden from various perspectives. Each unit has a private entry garden and a roof garden with mountain views.
