| The concept was to create a house within a garden, to be enjoyed by passers-by as well as the inhabitants of the house. Within these gardens we used plant combinations with high levels of detail for lasting visual interest. The site is graded and terraced to allow better use of the space for seating and entertaining, as well as contemplating the gardens. The backyard is organized around a sunken garden used for entertaining. Low raised terraces on either side of the yard are for seating and viewing the fountain. |
